About your Gastroenterologist

Dr Naidu feels strongly that delays in procedural time is a crime. He obtains early and urgent intervention for inpatients and outpatients alike – particularly for pancreatic cancer diagnosis and bile duct stones. By working in tandem with teams, he can provide a 48-hour service for inpatient procedures and 7-day service for outpatient procedures.

He focuses on minimally invasive endoscopic treatments without external surgical incisions. To achieve the best outcomes for his patients, he works closely with other gastroenterology, oncology and surgical colleagues.

Dr Naidu is an expert interventional endoscopist having performed over 1000 EUS procedures and 1000 ERCP procedures in his career to date. His public appointment is as the Head of Endoscopic Services at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (CALHN). He also holds appointments in the Calvary Adelaide Hospital Medical Advisory Committee and Calvary North Adelaide Hospital Perioperative Services Committee. His areas of expertise include Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), ERCP and Spyglass Cholangioscopy/Pancreatoscopy, large polyp resection (EMR), small bowel enteroscopy – single and double balloon, short double balloon enteroscopy for altered anatomy ERCP, endoscopy and colonoscopy.
